  • Thank you from Bill Gantz for flowers sent to his mother’s funeral.
  • Thank you from the Tefs family for Peace Lily sent in honor of Mrs. Tefs’ father upon his passing.
  • WEA Officer elections will be held during GA on Tuesday, March 26th.

-Classified bargaining team did a really good job.

-Level I informal grievance with janitors.

 

  1. Vice-President Certified:  Robin Gonzalez

-Evaluation concerns at Edgewood.

 

  1. WEA President’s report: Scott Miller

-WEA – BOE Negotiations settled. Ratification to be held on April 2nd in HS LGIR. Certified from 4:30-5:15 and classified from 5:15-6:00.

– Level I grievance concerning custodians.

  1. Legislative Update:  Scott Miller

-Nothing to report.

 

  1. Organizing Committee Report: Brian Burdine

-Did a lot of work recently in support of bargaining teams. Group members worked very hard in their support of the teams.

-WEA Bowling will be held Saturday May 4th at Wayne Lanes from 5-8pm.

-Organizing Committee receives $500 ECOEA grant to help pay for Soup with Santa.

 

  1. Evaluation Review Committee:  Robin Gonzalez

-Nothing to report.

 

  1. Labor Relation Consultant (LRC) Report: Ethan Young

-Nothing to report.

 

  1. New Business:

-WEA contract ratification to be held April 2nd.

-Classified VP Roxann Long to be honored as ECOEA Leader of Distinction Award Saturday, April 13. Highest honor awarded to any ECOEA member and given every other year.
