-Superintendent Search: Moving quickly, BOE                    interview this evening/ They are not doing it the same way as                 in the past (including staff as committee) Scott requested of BOE to not use interim super as we will be bargaining next     year.

-Grievance related to steps when hired 7 years ago (others have been hired in with steps for experience), grievance is written, but spoke with Rich and he seemed to want to work it out informally

-Next year is a bargaining year so Organizing Committee is getting ready

-Nothing to report.

6. Labor Relation Consultant (LRC) Report: Alison Hoffa

-School Funding

-Carol Carruthers was elected

-Karen and Brian are working on organizing, Robin is working on evaluation language

-Summer Leadership is coming up and will be virtual.

-Shared information from ESSR funds, discussed impact on bargaining, what district can and cannot use funds for

-Superintendent Search: See President’s report

-First reading of the 2021-2022 Budget: Robin proposed a member of the year award for certified and classified – amount of award discussed $500 each was put into the first read budget to be revisited Also, a Friend of Education award (physical award) to be presented at Convocation

-Meeting dates for next year: TBA soon in an email
